Upland has provided a link to Upland’s reports. The reports can be viewed on line only or a hard copy can be viewed at their office. They are not printable. This makes it very difficult to engage in consultation or provide comment. Comment period is over on October 21, 2016.

Upland Excavating Ltd’s Application to deposit Non-Hazardous solid waste and contaminated soil and treat the leachate, across from McIvor Lake, Campbell River’s drinking water.

The Upland Application has moved to “in review”.
Upland has given their final reports to the MoE. Included in those final reports is the Consultation Summary Report which is to answer the questions many of you asked Upland and are still waiting for a reply.

CREC met with Dr. Gilles Wendling, P. Eng, hydrologist at GW Solutions Inc. in Nanaimo regarding Upland’s application. He has agreed to review the application and look at the drainage
